Corporate Social Responsibility
At Baxi Potterton Myson, we are committed to supporting the Baxi UK and Ireland Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. Our CSR strategy comprises four pillars. They are:
Work place - We believe that the quality of our people is key to our future success and long term sustainability. We aim to recruit, develop and retain all employees by inspiring and motivating them to reach their full potential. We will provide a safe and secure environment which is conducive to the health and welfare of our employees.
Market place - We are committed to operating an ethical business and quality assured supply chain that delivers exceptional customer satisfaction with class leading products and brand values. We will proactively encourage our suppliers to comply with our vision and values at all times. Baxi Potterton Myson's Managing Director, Paul Clancy, has signed a CSR policy statement, to show our commitment to the market place in which we operate.
Environment - We value our environment and are committed to conservation. We seek to identify and minimise carbon emissions, noise pollution, waste, and packaging, in our workplace, in our products, and throughout our supply chain.
Community - We are committed to working with our local communities on appropriate projects that improve the society in which we operate. We will partner with national and local charities that share our core vision and values. We are delighted to have appointed The Irish Hospice Foundation as our National Charity for 2014 and 2015 (click here to read more).
Message from our CEO
Our business is aware of its environmental and social responsibilities and strives to operate in a sustainable and ethical way.
During 2013, we formed the Baxi UK and Ireland Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) steering committee, which is leading activities that support our commitments.
The process of embedding the UK and Ireland vision, structures and processes that support our commitment to CSR will continue to ensure we truly are investing today in a sustainable future.
David Pinder, CEO UK and Ireland
